Coghlan makes Topps MLB Rookie All-Star Team; Rays’ Niemann left off

Florida Marlins outfielder Chris Coghlan, a former East Lake standout, made the 51st annual Topps Major League Rookie All-Star team, which was announced Wednesday.

Coghlan was picked as the National League Rookie of the Year. Rays right-hander Jeff Niemann, who finished fourth in the American League Rookie of the Year voting, did not crack the Topps team.
